A Kansa wand is a traditional Ayurvedic massage tool featuring a handle made of wood and a top made from Kansa—an alloy of copper and tin often called "healing metal". Used for thousands of years, it is designed to balance the skin's pH, detoxify tissues, enhance circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and reduce puffiness, particularly on the face. It is believed to pull acidity (or ama) from the skin, often leaving a temporary, light gray sheen that can be easily wiped away, indicating detoxification. We will provide a warm facial towel at the end of the service.
